God of War - any good?

Ok guys, please help me out here. I'm seriously considering getting God of War. I've read loads of great reviews and played a demo (which was awesome might i add) but my only concern is that it could just be another platform game that i complete in a couple of days and never play again. Don't get me wrong, i'm not really that kind of person, and i know it's an awesome game, but could you guys tell what you think of it if you hae it, and whether i should get it. Cheers 👍
 
Well, I´ve finished it in a few days and never played it again. Is it worth the money? HELL YES!

It´s the best Action/Platform game in the PS2 by far, some say it´s the best of this generation. Maybe you should consider renting it since you can finish it in less than a week. After that if you still want to play it go out and buy it.

BTW, I think there´s a thread about this game in the PS2 forum, you should look for it.

The problem with that game is it seems too short IMO but a very good rent. Maybe you should wait for it's price to come down.
 
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing... waiting for it to become 30 bucks or something. I'm not going to pay 60 bucks for a game of which I know I'll finish in a couple of days. I might play it again, but after that it'll be collecting dust anyway.
