Well...I re-start classes tonight.
Going back to college. Bye laziness, welcome the stress, homework, tests, meh...:(

There goes my summer vacation.

At least the only good thing I did on this past summer vacation was that I beat all of Vice City and got 100%.:D

Trig?! I really hope I never have to take that. I got a D in Algebra I last year I don't think I'll do any better with Algebra II. :(

I took Algebra 1 last year (8th Grade) and didn't pass by 5 points so I'm taking it again this year for a semester and taking Geometry next semester.

I'm taking Algebra I This year(8th grade). Hope I don't end up like you, which I won't.

Just finished day 8...170 more to go(for the MO law). Last Thursday we had a power outage(some dim-bulb was doing guttering near the school, was carrying a piece up or something, hit the lines, then they shut off the power to save the guy, but he died anyway), cutting the day down about a block and a half(including my lunch, so it was like 2 and a half hours off or something, really nice for us). Then I heard that there was an outage over the weekend when people were doing football practice or what not. So just thinking about what happened, I had this vision/daydream that the power would once again go out(Deja-vu! Where's that thread...ah screw it). Around 9AM in Algebra 2 the lights starting flickering. Then at 9:15, they went out. The main principle comes over the intercom(generator power for that) and explains that the lights were flickering so they thought it necessary to shut the power off(hey why not, it's just in the middle of a class, the students won't give a damn). It was off for about 30 mins while the piss-poor electrician worked(or lack there of) on it. Finally the power comes back on, at around 9:46. The block was supposed to be over at 9:30, so we figure that within a minute the bell will ring and I'll go to my best class of the day, Ceramics. Hell no. The main principle comes back on the intercom and says that they will release us at around 10:05(and she ones again says "Hello this is Mrs. Marquart..." like she always does even if she's gone on the intercom 15 times within 5 mins...). So now 1/3 of my Ceramics class time is gone. But I was able to start work on my Rotary Engine pot(can never make enough rotary engine stuff), and I took home 4 mags(1 '99 Car and Driver, 3 '97 Road and Tracks, and in them are 3 Mazda ads I don't have) from the class(free mags waiting to be cut up, but I save them from thier choppy death). So the day was ok.

Have fun at college.

I could've passed. I just never did homework. And my best friend and I were in the same class. We just so happened to be the funniest people in the school. Didn't work out too well.

That happened to me last year in pre-algebra. Me and my friend were the biggest clowns in school. I ended up with a D and he went to a different school(not because of us being clowns).

Well, today was my first day at High school( BC,Canada high school starts in Grade 8). Well we just got a tour of hour homeroom, subjects etc. Tommorow is the real school day. I don't have Algebra 8 yet...:odd:

Me? I am in 10th. I'll be taking Geometry next year. When I'm a Senior, I'll take Consumer Math. Oh joy! Math is my worst subject followed closly behind by Bible. :irked:

You're supposed to take Geometry in 10th :odd:

Hey only northerners are yankees, not the whole United States, we people in the south are "rednecks" according to people who have never visited anywhere remotely near the south.

Uh, school started about 6 weeks ago for us. Yeah. Uh, the only thing I do that's advanced is Maths, but I'm pretty good at everything, although I hate DT. I am doing crap in it, not in the pracs, but in the theory. We have to fill out these booklets, so I think, "Stuff that." Good thing we don't have to do it next year.

I started school a couple of weeks ago. 22nd of August.

It's not really all that hard...we have what's called a "student teacher," which is a college student trying to teach and learn at the same time. She goes too fast for most of the people in the class, but I usually get some part of what she's saying and the rest from reading the book. We're doing stuff with sine, cosine, tangent, secant, cosecant, and cotangent. The latter three are just reciprocals of the first, and it's basically just a ratios of the sides of triangles. Test on Friday.

Ceramic Rotary Engine model...funky.
Moving parts (you could get away with that if you used a heavy glaze)?
