Recently purchased a gt by citroen concept and loving it. But i spun out in one race and hit reverse. Then noticed just how fast i was going. So i decided to max it out on SSR7 and hit 190mph in reverse!! Anyone else found any cars that can go stupidly fast backwards?

Well not stupid fast, but abnormally fast for reverse is the X2010 Vettel. I think it tops out at 120 mph going backwards.

190 in Reverse!!!!!i gotta try that

In GT4 the Chaparell 2J was totaly insane at reverse speed.
340kph was my record
=> maybe it is still possible (?)

I don´t have this Car => I can´t try it out.

You should try to do a 180 while going backwards ( I think it's called a bootleg turn) at 190 mph

The Citroen GT is an electric car, so it can go as fast in reverse as it can forward (ignoring aero differences).

all the electric cars can do that. Tesla also goes in reverse as fast as it goes forward

It's not necessarily because it's electric; it's because it has a continuously variable transmission.

Most cars have, say, five or six forward gears and one reverse gear. But if you're car is armed with a CVT (like all electric cars), it has just as many ratios backwards as it does forwards. A Corolla with a CVT could beat a Ferrari F430 going backwards.

Trust me, I've seed a video of this. :D

That means the cube should do backwards quite quickly too! Things ugly but in real life god do I ever hate CVT transmissions.

Maybe, but I wouldn't be surprised if normal cars like the Cube have some sort of limiter, so that you couldn't go backwards at 90 mph.

do I ever hate CVT transmissions.
