Going on a cruise to the Bahamas...any tips?

What should i get ready for on the cruise? I haven't been on one in a really long time... I don't have any fears or anything, just wondering if any of you have some tips you could provide me to have a good time if i ever get bored and have nothing to do. Or, maybe some horror stories so i can avoid problems on the ship.

Don't overpack, and do everything possible to prevent cruise blues. A ship packed with people can be a very lonely place.
