I got my first tattoo a few months ago. It runs down the back of my forearm, and it says "Seattle" in celtic-style lettering.

Admittedly its not the greatest place.. But i like it alot and think it looks really good. Definitely looking forward to my next tattoo... But i'm not sure what i'll get.

I was born in Seattle and lived there for the first half of my life... Its a great place.

And i'm actually in the midst of moving back there at the moment. :]

Both of you have some great looking tats.

But like alot of guys I would want something to mean alot more to me. Originally I was hoping to get one when I made it into the RAF, but all that went out the window. Perhaps a WRU crest or something patriotic.

Mine is also dedicated to my grandmother who just passed recently, she was a devoted Irish catholic and had celtic crosses all over her house. I also plan to get both of my family crests on either side of my chest. 👍

Anyone want to check the last post of the first page and tell me what they think? ;)

I'm not really into crosses as tatooes but to each his own. It doesn't take away from my feeling that that is a very well done tatoo there powripper.

Now, I found that the pain wasn't that bad at all, but that was on my back.
How bad is it on the chest?

I have one tattoo on my shoulder blade and one on the to of my arm. The shoulder was the worst of all and it was bleeding loads.

👍

IIRC, there is a proper way to combine family crests. Unless of course yours are so chopped and changed already that would just be added hassle.

That tattoo looks ace powripper :) 👍

The artist who did it must be really professional because its like perfectly identical to the picture! Good stuff.....

Personally im not a fan of needles so I dont think having one would be for me but its great that your expressing your heritage and family. Its good when people put thought into tattoo's instead of the crass stuff thats has nothing to do with there culture, experiences etc... and they do it just to impress.

How is it feeling now? Just it like feel sore when you lean back on it? Is it still red and how long till it like goes and the tattoo becomes more defined?

So us some pics when its finally settled in :) 👍

It really only was sore the first two days. At this point its just itchy, dry and starting to peel. (both are normal)

When the dryness and the peeling stops it should look a little better. at that point I go in for touch-ups, I'll be sure to post pics 👍
