Gold Licence Challenges

Am I the only on that thinks that golds for this challenges are ridiculously set. Its not that they are too hard, its just that targets times are very inconsistent. I spent hours on some and then other I did in few tries. And the difficulty is just constantly high, right from the first licence.
Second hardest to me has been Dunlop Curve on Nurburgring on beginner! And the hardest one definitely second cone slalom challenge with lime green Toyota. I spent two frustration filled, days there.
 
They are difficult but not ridiculous imo as i like to be challenged. Im yet to get gold on the second slalom test its the only one left on that license and the other one i struggle with is the corner after the long straight at le sarthe. I always get .10 of a second off gold which makes it even more frustrating when its so close lol.

Yea, that la sarthe is giving me problems now. Still, I can't imagine being harder than second slalom test. You must be very delicate on steering or you'll get out of control, but if you are just a little too careful, you'll be too slow for gold. I definitely managed to get gold there more by luck than by skill.

I got gold on first two AMG challenges, but both of them were way easier than that freaking slalom. I just wonder if theres anything even harder further on.

I used the trail cam so I could see both sides of the car which was totally bizaro, like driving my kids RC car. Then I use my counting system, I count to 9. A # for each cone, the car will stay planted as you are accelerating up to 5 where you have to keep a steady and constant throttle until just after 7. Then you start spooling up through 8, pushing it past 9 without hitting the cone on the left when you go between the last two towards the finish.

I spent like an hour and a half on Suzuka on the S-Licence =(

Then i figured out to brake much earlier round the first Degner so i could get into third on the next corner by carrying speed. Then its just a simple case of taking 1/2 of them on the 130R and getting a tidy finish. Hurr durr.
 
I found GT5 licenses were easier to gold than any GT before (icluding GT PSP). Not 'bragging' or anything I really do that way.

All GT's have been inconistant with gold times, I remember in some GT's IB, IC and even NA, NB had some harder tests to gold than SS.
