has any one heard of this game their are some pics of it in the oficial ps2 magazine and it looks really good especially for multiplayer. it has great graphics by the looks of it as well. the main charecter is NOT bond for some reason i think you will be able to play against him at some point if youve heard about this game post some info!

Yes, it's been known about for a few months. It comes out on the 24th in the US.

Oh yeah, nothing will beat the original Goldeneye!
 
Perfect dark was no where near as good as Goldeneye!! And I doubt if Rouge agent will be either. It's a shame when an award winning game like Golden eye comes out that forthcoming games of that franchise never will be as good, regardless of how many years later it's released or if the console is better. That's how good Goldeneye was.
 
Thats an overstatement, I played Goldeneye recently. Although the game was (very) great for its time, it just does not compare anymore.

I like their reasoning for the title Goldeneye.
The main character has a golden eye, shouldint it be called Golden Eye:Rogue Agent then? Better yet, just scrap the title and the whole 'golden eye' idea (besides, its lame) and call it something else and give the 'rogue agent' a better gadget (or whatever you want to call it).

Oh but I guess we are talking about EA here, same EA who makes their employee's work 90 hours a week. Its all about the money, guess that's something that will never change.
 
Of course it won't be as good as when it was released. If like me you completed the whole game on every difficulty level and recieved all the cheats, then you must've played the game to death where nothing suprises you anymore. However if I replayed a game from my past that was incomplete I would find some joy in trying to do what seemed imposible before.
 
You know, now that I think about it..
Its in that one aspect that you mentioned that Goldeneye still has current FPS games beat on.

I played Goldeneye to death, trying to complete levels under certain requirements (that sometimes seemed impossible), just to unlock that stuff. I cant think of any other FPS game that has accomplished that for me.

The latest 007 games have simaler things (not sure about EON), but I definately dont try anywhere near as hard to best all the levels.

If they could bring this back, then it truely deserves the name and not being just 'some cash-in' on a name.
 
If Rare went back to Nintendo tomorrow and started on a new Bond their way, I would be a very happy man.
 
so is anyone actually excited about his game i know the last bond game sucked because it was third person but nightfire had quite a cool multiplayer mode.
 
LISTIN!!!!! look at the new screenshots they look FRIGGIN AWSOME its going to be better than goldeneye **** that game sucks now.
 
The game may suck now, but all preceding Bond games will suck even more. Rare got the whole thing right where EA stumble every time.
