Golds and Pros

I've posted about a topic similiar to this before, but I was just curious for any of you who race semi pro or pro, or just race competitively or know someone who does:

If any of them play GT3 or any sim racer for that matter, how well can they adapt to the game physics, handling, and such. For licenses, for example, would it/is it easy for them to get Golds easily??

That is actually a pretty interesting question. I wonder if pro racers would be able to get the hang of the physics quicker than most people. Does anyone know?

Well, it's pretty good. What's missing is the physical aspect of it; the G forces, the nerves, the heat...

Grassroots Motorsports did a big writeup when GT3 first came out, and they recommended GT3 and a good wheel/pedals as an off-season refresher to keep real driving skills sharp over the winter.
