Can you help me find reviews ,test drives and possible problems of this specific model?Thank you in advance!

Well first I'm going to ask why would you like to purchase this car? Also it was the German car of the year I believe when it was released. It is very reliable(at least the 3 door is). The only problems I might see with this car are just normal wear and tear of a car that is 20 years old and the top. If you look at one, look and see if the top is in top order. Also if the weather permits, I'd go on a rainy day to see if has any leaks. Other than the top they are great cars and I believe because of their popularity, these body styles are still being sold in South American countries. Hope this helped.

I'm living on an sunny island and I believe a small convertible is suitable. The styling of this convertible is great as far as I'm concerned,it's reliable and has good after sale value, since I'm gonna buy it for only 3500 Euro...I just wanted to see driving reviews and potential mechanical problems it might have. Thanks for your time!

Great car.
Only problem could be the top/ roof.
Mechanically they are very realiable. It depends on the engine you are getting, but apart from the engine, the rest of the mechanics are rock solid.
The body shell is galvanized so if it didn't get repairs or accidents the body should last another 20 years.
Service is easy on those and don't cost the world.
Spare parts are more than available.
Tuning too.
Only place were they tend to rotten is in the back on the trunkhandle.

Even if you're living in a sunny country, go to a car wash and look if it is sealed or if it does rain through.

generally it's the cover that rips on the folding places if not looked after.
But you can get a whole new cover for a few bucks used or new so that is not the problem.
The mechanical parts of the cover is sturdy and should only need some greece ;) from time to time.
If it's a rubber that is easy to repair too.
Another thing to look if water gets it, are the evacuation tunnels for water. They can be closed if it doesn't have seen rain regulary
So yes easy repairs for an intermediate.

Though normally it shouldn't even leak, it was a good built quality.

Thank you guys, much appreciate the input!Does anybody know where can I find a link for a test drive or a review done by a magazine or a TV show etc?
