Hi everyone,
After presenting my Valentino Balboni Clio Cup, I would like to share another GT7 project that is very important to me: my Golf VII GTI Clubsport S Replica.
The objective of this project was not simply to build a fast Golf GTI. I wanted to recreate the character and philosophy of the real Clubsport S inside Gran Turismo 7 while keeping the project technically understandable and fully documented.
The starting point was the real car’s concept: 310 PS, 380 Nm, front-wheel drive and a chassis developed around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
From there, the GT7 car was developed through suspension work, differential tuning, transmission setup and repeated testing. The intention was always to preserve the character of a powerful front-wheel-drive GTI rather than turn it into something the real Clubsport S was never meant to be.
