My GT3 save file got deleted by "accident" thanks to a mate of mine.
All my cars and there settings all gone, GONE i tell you :nervous:

Now i have to start from the damn begining again... Unless anyone knows how to get the memory card function of the Action replay Max to work properly, where you use a usb drive to move from memory card to your pc. Which i cannot seem to get the games to read, i can get it to pc and back to the ps2 but thats it... :indiff:

Sorry I just had to vent some anger and frustration.

Dan.

P.s. I was at about 78 percent on my first save LOL never finished the game before...

damn. i dunno how the armax thing works, but hey, if your not too picky you could whack on the max money and all gold license codes then the 1 lap race codes youd quickly catch up :D

Like I said to someone else who experienced this. Get your mate to do all the test track/Super speedway events. That'll show him not to mess about with people's files.

When the AR MAX records the files to the MaxDrive it crushes the data.
If you copy back to memory card, it copies the crushed data which PS2 cannot read.
You need to use the uncrush function of the AR MAX software to uncrush the data as its recorded back onto the memory card. That should then be read OK by the PS2!

Hope that helps, if not, unlucky mate! 👎 But on the bright side, you get to do the whole game again! How rewarding! 👍

I know exactly how you feel because I did exactly the same thing to my own game, at 77% completion.

Did you make a file back-up or are you having troubles getting one recovered?

SmallHorses - Cheers I'll try that out and see if I can get it to work.

MasterGT - Yes and no, the save is very old tho, almost like 30% LOL but i'll see how succesful i am.

Meh... I deleted my game at 90% on accident...
And drunks did it again at 50% or something

I know your pain... just gold the A licenses and use hte RX-8... quite a capable car... just needs a better tranny... and BAM its fast... Did the Amatuer FR races with just buying T2 tires and a sports tranny
