Hi. I am quite a keen photographer in GT5 but always feel dissapointed when I look at my photos and then look at the after market editied photos. I currently only know of picnik on flickr and www.photoshop.com but what I really want is to be able to add in other photos and stuff to form things like this:

I know that only the second one has things editied in but how would you go about creating something like the first one as well?

Thanks for any help in advance

I use GIMP 2 on my MacBook. Isn't 100% optimal on a Mac, you'll have to use CTRL, no support for CMD. Otherwise, great software.

Thank you guys. Lets hope it works (is so far) and see where I can get in the Photomode/Photoshop PMC

Do you also notice how the toolbar and the screen with the picture need to be clicked on before anything can happen? It gets annoying.

Ermm when I open up gimp, it just opens up X11 and it says

bash-3.2$

Which is exactly what it does on mine, then waits for a few seconds... And then does GIMP start loading.

Yeah, it bothers you. but you get used to it after a while. I'm thinking about getting Photoshop, but the price is just...

Got GIMP working. What would I have to do to get something like the first picture

Here's what I did:
-Made a cyan path along the lines, about 16 pixels wide, then made it thinner as it goes down by selecting some of it and erasing it.
-Blurred it about 8 pixels.
-Duplicated it and turned the curves all the way to the right.
-Turned opacity down to about 40 to 50 percent.
-Repeat for all other lines.

For the taillights, I just used the airbrush tool, made it fuzzy, and colored on it, since the lights were circle.

I also much prefer GIMP over Photoshop, due to the "Color to Alpha" function. Very handy with logos.
