I started out with Gran Turismo 2 and nearly beat the entire game with the exception of the Super license. Then I got pretty far in GT3-A Spec as well. However I went into the PS3 so really missed out on GT4, and now I'm back into things with GT5.
I'd consider myself a more superior arcade racer (ranking #38 in the world at my high point on the Blur Driver's Score leaderboard), as well as my success with NFS:HP and Burnout Paradise. But there is far, far more to GT5 and even though I wouldn't consider myself good at this game at all, I'm trying hard.
I primarily play racing games but have a soft spot for the FF series of RPG's. I also like match 3 types of games like Bejeweled. Can't play shooters to save my life. I also like nostalgic games (NES/SNES) as well as reboots/remakes of them (Final Fight: Double Impact and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, a RCR clone).
I doubt I'll race GT5 online much as I would hate to accidentally ram someone and then have my name flamed all over GT land, but I'll be more than happy to play a game of NFS:HP or Blur with anyone. My PSN is joerevs300.
