Well I just got done playing Forza 4 for about 3.5 hours, charging my controller now. Should have had it full charged. Just sharing my thoughts while it's charging.

Anyway, after playing GT5 consistently since launch, this game is better than GT5 in almost every imaginable way. It's really staggering how much content there is in this, and just how robust this game is. I skipped Forza 3 since I had a launch 360 and left it on a couple summers ago with the AC off and killed it, my own fault.

But man, its really incredible for a franchise that hasnt even been around all that long, how it has more features and events, challenges, more upgrade and tuning options, better graphics and engine sounds, more telemetry data, storefront and auction house, all integrated with their website, car clubs with shared garages, manufacturer affinity system. Really impressive! Just total porn for any car lover, on a level GT has never reached.

And the career system, WOW! Unlike GT5, if you switch to a more powerful car, well the opponents change, and not only that, but the entire event changes! Which means every time you play, depending on the car you pick, your career path changes! So cool.

I decided not to trade GT5 in towards it, but I realize now Ill never turn that game on again. Should have unloaded it, but Ill trade it in towards Batman.

I really cant get over how amazing this game is, and I have GT5 to thank for that. Having that to compare to, knowing that game inside and out, I just couldnt stop smiling playing Forza 4.

I could not agree with you more after learning of the work around with the fanatech wheels to get true sim steering and tuning the physics are light years better than gt5 imo not to mention the game is phenomenal and then just think every month there will be dlc for 10 cars and I'm sure they are going to add some tracks as well. The online player and interface is unreal with car clubs etc.

GT5 is more of a simulator, forza is like an arcade looking game. You have to use a wheel for GT5 to really enjoy it, that's how you feel the difference between the 2 games.

I don't agree with this thread, but you need to get a clue about FM4 Turbovl. I play a lot of both games with a Fanatec GT2 and if FM4 is an arcade game then I'm Santa Claus...

I couldn't agree more it cracks me up how people can speak of something they really know nothing about.

Playing wiht pads but I get the same feeling.

People really need to learn what an arcade racing game is (Driver for example).

+1 to the OP, this game is off the charts, its just outstanding. GT5 looks better in certain places but it does not trump all of the goodies crammed into this game. The camera Angle on the Top gear test track when passing the tires is inasnity. They got the real TV camera angles down pat. The entire track is light years ahead of GT5's version as it stands.
