Good 'ol windows explorer

I have a problem: I keep getting a message saying that "explorer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". This happens about every minute or so and im starting to get pissed now. I have ran AVG, norton ,adaware,spybot and microsofts scanner thing. I cant think of anything else to do now. So I turn to you my fellow GTP'ers and ask for you help.

So, please help me, before I throw 1000 dolar laptop out the window and regret it.

I'm in you're area if you want to chuck it call me. We can do it Office Space style. That will be real fun. I have a ****ty ass clamshell C phone I want to do too. :)
 
Creepy, on the laptop I'm using now that happens to me a lot. Not every minute like it does to you but it does. Sometimes without the error message. Then again, this computer's chock full'o viruses and stuff.
 
When do you get these messages? They're normal if it stops responding, but just randomly... ouchie. Since it can't be viruses, that's a little worrying.
 
Well, When I did these tests as I stated in the first post, they were performed about 2 weeks ago, and since then, I ran all of those progams at once this morning and cam up with 112 infected files in Ad-aware and nothing in AVG. So I went into safe mode, Cleaned out about 3GB worth of files I never use (thats a lot considering I have a 25GB HDD) and went into the diagnostic tools and ran a bunch of tests there. Everything passed and for some reason it has stopped for now.


I know what you going to ask me, and yes, its a dell:dunce:

Problem solved- For now...
