Good pre 69 cars at 400pp

Hi guys,

A friend Is running an evening for pre 69 cars at 400pp. I've recently had to start again so I haven't got a lot of money so I don't want to spend lots money on a loads of cars. What cars are good at this pp?

P.S I've tried searching but cannot find much, other pre 69 cars are mention but at a bigger pp of 500.
 
The best is the GT40 Mark 1 but it does cost a lot of money.

Corvette Stingray C3 is your best bet. Detune it.
 
Thanks for your reply, I was under the impression the GT40 couldn't get down to 400pp. Will give the stingray a look, thanks.
