When you are playing in Gran Turismo mode i have bought a Mitsi Evo and an Impreza as my two main racing cars. ( They both have just over 500bhp )
What i done was put snow tyres on the Impreza and dirt on the Evo, this way i can use these bulky racing cars rather than upgrading some ugly rally car.
You will notice when racing in the special conditions tourneys that after two races you get a car, well you will win lots of different rally cars with quite good BHP.
What i would suggest is to simply sell these new cars that you win, as you get 250,000 or around for them which is great, then you can build a garage of cars which you actually like the look of.
You win:
Toyota Celica's
Subaru Impreza's
Delta's
Renault 5's
Because of selling these cars i've hooked myself up with a Ford GT at 700+bhp, a DB9 which is rapid, SL600 AMG which is just short of 1000bhp! Clio V6 and Mini Cooper S.
Try it out.
