Good touring/racing car to start with?

My garage is entirely tuned road cars right now and in some events with the AI running touring cars I can't really keep up (plus I want one for some events). Whats a good touring car to start out with that would run well in the GT World Championship?

It depends, if you can get the Merc Touring Car it'd be the best one, IMO. I say it depends because if you have money, just use a JGTC/Super GT. (I don't think there are any restrictions)
 
Right now there's two in the UCD, ones the CLK 500 and the other is a Panoz Esperante GTR-1. I don't have the money for the Panoz right now.

A ZR1 in the new dealers with a Race modification is an ensured win:tup:
 
I'd go for the ZR1 or the Lexus ISF Racing Concept both available in the New Car Dealer. Both are under 1 million cr. and both are very fast.

Funny both of you mention that, I have a tuned RM Z06 from the NCD with over 800hp, I think that should do it. I probably overlooked it.
