You only put the video code after the = in the url in the youtube tags:

And yes - that seemed pretty similar. Those engines seemed way more powerful though.

Yeh I don't think you'd get a Lola with 8,000 BHP tbh....

That's the last of the decent footage.

Roo
"1966 Lola-Ford T90 "Bowes Seal Fast Special", driven by Jackie Stewart in the 1967 Indy 500, classified 18th despite engine failure just before the finish."

So now you know.

*snip*
Ah, thanks. 👍

Great video G.T! So it was wet huh?

Man, I'd love to go that event at some stage.

It'd be great to see all those cool cars running by themselves - you can hear each one individually rather than in a pack of 30 odd...

At the very start it wasn't wet, then it started pouring down with rain. Every single time I've been to the event it has ALWAYS started to rain mid-afternoon - twice being at the start-line. But yeah, it's cool hearing the cars individually, especially in the paddocks. One in particular was the Mazda 757, but when I started filming they turned the engine off!

I better hope for greater luck next time...

You saw a Toyota GT-One? And a Castrol Supra? And a 2000GT?

You lucky, lucky bastards! I'm coming with you guys next year!....If I have the money :scared:

aint no better place to see the finest rarest beasts! they had a porsche 959 there a few years back :dopey: first place the SLR was shown in public i think too

At that point where we were standing at the start line we kept getting small but highly concentrated spots of rain. So the cars earlier in that video are launching harder than the others and some of the faster cars were just taking it easy at the start.

Infact that last car in the video, I think it was a AM V8 vantage actually crashed on the course and a lot of cars had to be sent back or wait, because they were just about to let a racing viper go up but they had to send it back i think because of the aston crashing.

Also two toyota 7's an old celica supra rally car and also there was lots of mr2's in the parking lot. I even saw a jdm mki supercharger there.

That Alfa 8C is so stunning I nearly fell of my chair, that has got to be one of the most stunning cars ever made. Wish I had gone :(

the ctr is made from a cayman I believe.

I can see how would think that with the shape and all but its actually based on a heavily (emphasis on heavily) modified 997 platform. If you put a 911 next to the CTR3 you can see the difference both length and width-wise

Correct. The CTR-3 is just around a half million, and very few numbers will see the U.S. And right now, it's hard for me to gain the info as to when one will come through.

While thought so, not at all really. The CTR-3 uses technology gained from their RT12 which is based on the 997. The body style is also more suited to be Carrera GT influenced. The car runs a twin turbo 3.8-liter flat six.

A bit late as I already covered it, but still worth noting again from someone else. :)

Love the start line vid, James. Cheers for that 👍

You didn't happen to get Rod Millen stalling the Tacoma Pikes Peak, did you?

Two Toyota GT-Ones.
Yes, I did, but the footage is after the stall, so all you see is the marshalls pushing it out of the way of the rest of the cars. A bit boring.

I'll upload it if you guys request it.

Found a couple of old Goodwood photo's, didn't think there was much point in opening a new thread so I'm hi-jacking James' thread!

I like the Ferrari one, wth is the other thing?
