It's a month away from the festival now (11th-13th July), so I'm starting to wonder if anyone is going.

Here's the ticket prices:

Friday: £30
Saturday or Sunday: £47
Weekend: £99

For any of the grandstands:
Friday: £54
Saturday or Sunday: £82
Weekend: £174

Latest news on the event can be found here:

So, anyone interested?

As soon as I saw this I though ROAD TRIP!

Then quickly realised I'm already going to Portugal this summer, so can't afford it :/ Expecting the usual high level of photography and video though, James ;)

I'd love to go, however its too far away for my family to really travel plus I think my brother and Mum would probably get bored. Also, I'll probably be going to MPH08 this year, maybe next year I might see if we can conviently arrange a holiday down in that area and go for a day or something.

Highlights from Friday:

The structure outside the house this year is all about Land Rover. It's 34 metres tall and if you look closely you'll see there's a red light on top to warn low flying aircraft of its presence.

The chap on the bike on the roof is Dougie Lampkin, 12 times trial riding champion (or some such). There's a video of him riding through Goodwood House:

I'll post my own thread at some point after the weekend; these are just to whet appitites.

It was pretty good this year. Every time I think I shouldn't go since it'll be the same thing over and over again, but honestly there was quite a few different cars this year.

Here's the videos I've done. My full thread with the usual images will be coming hopefully today or tomorrow...

seeing as we all went on the same day y'know next time maybe we should have all met up? I mean we looked in the Model shops for Nathan but we didnt have the time to spend the whole day in them either.

It is a special day, but damn is it expensive. Haven't been in ages (last time I went Mike Gascoyne put his Jordan, I think he was working for Jordan at the time, into the barrier in front of me. Must have been nearing 10 years ago. Those Grandstand prices are incredible too. But then it is something you have to do at least once in your life.

Yeah, we need to arrange properly next time. It was my original intention for this thread but since like 2 people said they were going I didn't bother to go any further.

Nice videos stumpy. 👍 When you saw that Scirocco we were literally in the same spot as you!

And if you don't already know, my thread has been made:

I would of met up with Nathen, because he said he was going to pick me up from the train station. However since he was 10 minutes late I was already on board a bus, but if he had arrived once I got off my train, then I would of met up with him

I was actually within half a mile when TVR&FF's train arrived - I just got lost trying to find the station.

nowai! if you ever saw me i was long haired ginger guy with a black tshirt with a llama on lol

yeah i was saying to james when I saw that guy 'man that guy is a jabroni' oh wai.......

I think the main thing to remember for goodwood is 'never by food unless you enjoy paying double or triple for anything' although they did give us a thimble of free beer. James got hecka drunk on that.

Yeah. A packet of horrible crisps £1.20, apparently "home made". They were horrible.

I think your Tom Tom is hella drunk. It took us into Portsmouth before it decided to go to Goodwood!
