no! I think it's to late for that now, he has already said that they can release when they want.
maybe it's for GT TV?

They can always sell it as an add on track (DLC) and I have a feeling they might, if not then they will just add it to the next GT6.

That's the beauty of the GT series it is limitless to what they can add to the game. It's just a matter of licencing the deal for a track or car. So I think when KAZ show's up at some car event he is not just there for pleasure but is working on the next project to add to GT.

All i can say about this is GT5 will be big. With all this secrecy about Kaz without even a single leak of info.

Dunno about the hillclimb, but the circuit where the revival meetings are held would be nice.;)

But then, why no DLC Track or cars for prologue? think about that,if they release a DLC pack for Prologue with 5 cars and 1 track for 5$ they would earn so much extra money before a GT5 release...

But I think money isn´t that important for Kaz...👍 He´s not doing it like EA or some other never getting enought developers... But the other side then is that the fans got to wait and wait and wait for something new...

I think it would be ok if PD would release a car&track pack for 5$

Prologue got 30 new cars with Spec II and 3 new with Spec III, for free.

exactly, although a lot of us wouldn't mind spending a couple of quid on DLC, can you imagine how bad it would look for PD/Sony to charge for extras on what the mainstream sees as a demo?

To be honest I really don't know if they would implement it into the game but it would be brilliant. If they did put it in the game you should get the chance to go online and have a viewing mode anywhere on the track like it was actually at goodwood and then have a choice if you want to drive it up the hill for people to see your car.

P.S- loads of team merchandise was there this weekend like for instance I got a Mclaren Mercedes cap. Anyway is it possible to implement merchandise into the game for the crowd, with all the manufacturers licenses and all?

I, personally, think Goodwood Hillclimb would be brilliant.

I love driving and pretending I'm doing a Goodwood-style car show in GT4... I always use Citta di Aria Reverse, and just drive all these concepts and race cars like I'm at a Goodwood type show 👍

I want pre-paid cards for PS-Store! :( When they release extra tracks like this and I have to pay for them, then I want to be able to buy them. But I do not have a credit card...:nervous:

I think they will start doing that with the full version of GT5 since it's going to be a long while probably for the next GT6. No point in doing another DLC if they are about to release the full version it just might ruin the hype for GT5.

Goodwood hill climb is off limits always has been. Loads of Modders have asked permission to use it and Goodwood always say no. the Goodwood race track is anybody's. But they never release the rights to create the hill climb Dont know why, but they dont.

I'm sorry, don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but...h-i-l-l climb? Where's the hill? And where is the challenge? There's, like, 3 moderately difficult corners and after a minute the show is over.

There's a European Hillclimb Championship, but the tracks are a lot more challenging than Goodwood.

I agree that it isnt a real "hillclimb", but the track is pretty challenging because of the bumpy road and lack of run-off areas.

Agreed, it is not a track that is included in championships and no doubt is not a patch on real 'hillclimb' tracks. However, that is what it is officially called.

Kazunori Yamauchi seems to have the aim in Gran Turismo of encompassing the whole world of cars - be it old road cars, new road cars, race cars, concept cars. The Goodwood Festival of Speed has become a massive event in the car world, with many major manufacturers and race teams supporting it, and so it would be nice if the track from the event was included in GT. Admittedly the track is very short and being point to point won't be any use for racing - but then with WRC being included in GT5 then the chances are there'll be point to point tracks for that anyway.

On another note, when attending the Festival of Speed last weekend I got to see in the flesh many famous and successful racing drivers past and present - but I was most excited by seeing the guy who's in charge of a computer game in the flesh. Now, how sad is that? :)
