Goodwood is my favorite part of the game so far. I love rocketing up the road and I have gotten gold so far on everything. I honestly hope that there is a DLC with more goodwood events because I feel it is that awesome. And yeah, that plymouth is weird.

Love it. I'm sure they can and they will add more events with future updates

It is definitely more fun, and more difficult than I thought it would be.

Looks super as well - particularly in photomode...I have some stunning shots from it.

By far my most favourite part of the game so far! Absolutely love it. I've finished 4-3. Can anyone tell me how many there are in total? I've still not had the trophy for it so assuming there's more to come. At least I hope so anyway.

One of my favourites as well, I'm up to 5-3 and after at least 130 to 150 restarts and 4 clean laps I need another 300 ths to get gold ( stuborn old bastard).

Number 5-3 with the Red Bull was extremely difficult for me. I must've spent the best part of 2 hours trying to get gold last night, so frustrating.

I think I woke up the whole house celebrating when I eventually won gold!!

I agree that Goodwood is beautiful and the events are okay... but it's too short and simple to be a replacement for a hotlapping track, for me. If they kept putting classics with their real time in there as gold, that'd be a fun challenge.

I haven't been able to drive a Red Bull car to potential yet. Maybe now that I bough a new steering wheel... My original one from GT3 was getting pretty bad.

I hated it on GT5, I couldn't complete the events it was involved in but yesterday I just kept at it and I eventually managed to control the dammed thing.

It should be easier using a wheel but I had to do it with the Dual Shock 3, for the first 30 minutes I didn't make it to the left hand turn! After that the right/left flick was infuriating to get right, it's so easy to hit the wall on either side.

Yeah, Goodwood is my favourite part of the game so far. That and the lunar events. I guess its partly because they are very different from the rest of the events which is part of the reason I find them interesting.

I also plan to use Goodwood as my speed/time trial testing bed for all the cars. Especially as they have left out the ... speed test on Route X. That needs to be put back in the game right now!

Really enjoyed the dino event, The side events are much more enjoyable than a-spec

I'm finding this as well. I wanted to reserve judgment on the "buying" credits as apposed to earning them- but I'm getting a bit down hearted the cars I want are 750,000 credits(SEMA Camaros). I'm into GT for driving joy. But I recall earning credits in GT5 was a little easier.

The special events add variety and interest.

I really hate the RedBull one, it really ruins this aspect of the game for controller users. Just like in GT5...

It's seriously frustrating so I can imagine how you must've felt, haha! Any tips on your car setup/driving strategy? I just missed out on a silver because of a sloppy mistake but I know I can get that easily. Just not sure about that gold at this moment in time!

Basically brake late and don't over compensate would be my advice, I got gold 3rd try by 3 seconds using a controller, but it just seems really killer to the whole 'simulation' thing going on >.<

I didn't like it at first... but the more I drove there the more I liked it. I ended up finishing the 1st and 2nd invites in one sitting. I look forward to trying more of it once I advance further in my single-player Career. So far I find the X-Bow to be the most difficult one so hopefully I can learn from it when it comes time for me to take the Vettel Goodwood run.

Haven't tried The Goodwood bit yet I got the invite but declined it so far as I have realised before I go there I need to learn one important thing, How to drive these cars in gt6 which handle like a drunk on a pogo stick.

I agree - this is my favourite part of the game so far.

You can really feel the difference between the rally thoroughbreds like the Quattro and the Stratos, and the supercars like the Countach. Brilliant stuff.

It had its ups and downs for me. I hated the Red Bull challenge, took me a good 30 minutes to gold it. I've got gold in all of the events in it, and I have to say, the 59' Chevy and Citroen Road Car were very much worth every second of some of the more frustrating drives. Most of them were fun though.

LOL...

I scraped the paint off the GT40, took me three times to gold that one.

I rather would have had another racing track. Underwelmed to say at least with Goodwood. I enjoyed the Dino and Alpine event though :)
