Google Chrome is Throwing a Temper-Tantrum

Yesterday when I got up Chrome refused to load anything in the morning (worked fine yesterday evening though). Today it did the ame thing, and still won't work on the univeristy network. However, IE8 works fine through all of this? What gives?

I've never had a major prolem with Chrome up until this point. Following their proposed trouble-shooting techniques doesn't help, either.
 
I'm using Chrome right now and it's working fine.

But yeah, Chrome never hiccuped for the longest time and now I'm not sure what's up. Will have to look at it more closely tonight.

Also, on the topic of something not related but vaguely amusing, I apparently haven't browsed GTP since May with IE, and whenever I hit the 'new post' button it takes me back x-number pages to may sometime. It took me a minute to figure out why these threads were making no sense! :dunce:
 
Did you recently install a new plug-in or anything? That can sometimes cause issues. Other thing could be your firewall and security software not giving it the correct permissions.
 
Thanks for the help, but I eventually got it figured out by uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting my computer. All's well that ends well! 👍
 
That is why I use Firefox, it always runs smoothly.

I've been running Chrome for years and I've never had an issue. This sounded like user error more than anything else.
