Google Desktop Search

I'd heard about this previously, but just now saw it on Google's site. Interesting stuff - do any of us really have enough files to need to use the power of Google's search engine to find things?

Oddly enough, you should have used the search function to see that Sage has already pointed this out.

I installed it, used it once to see what it was all about, and then uninstalled it. It seemed useless.

Yeah I'd agree most of their stuff is useless. But if they don't keep cranking out little widgets then they'll be "just a search engine" and no one is interested in that anymore.

Have you played with Picasa? It's freaking cool.

lol with only 26 gigs its no use to me....the only reson any guy would dl this is to find all his p0rn. and delete it before his girl gets home :lol:

Or just use Windows search function. Not as fast, but gets the job done.
