I've actually been working, haven't been able to hit the Internet today till just now. Looked around and didn't see it mentioned, but I can't believe nobody's seen it!

Google's logo is a playable Pac-Man maze!! Awesome!!!!

Surely it's alreay being talked about somewhere here??

Well as it's all coded in Javascript, CSS and HTML, my guess would be... agreeing with Apple?

Then again Streetview seems to use Flash, so meh.

The point of the logo, or the point of the game?

The logo celebrates the 30th anniversary of the game.

The game, you eat all the dots without getting eaten by the enemy, but when you eat a power pellet you can eat them, for big bonus points. When the board is clear, you get a new (different) board. PacMan invented the maze game format, further developed by the likes of Donkey Kong, Frogger, etc. At each level there is a single magic sequence that gets you through, and you have to discover it, then discover the next, etc.

The main thing that gets eaten is quarters by the game machines!

I didn't even realise it was playable at first, the first time I went on the screen I assumed it was a static image like all their other arty ones, and then I guessed it was a moving .gif Just played through a couple of levels, had me laughing out loud at the coolness of it!

I can't believe that it has been 30 years since the game came out though, only seems like yesterday to me. I guess I am showing my age, because I can remember playing Pacman when it first came out. 👍

I agree with that, though there were a few games I could clock on a single credit, Pacman wasn't one of them though! 👍
