Got 100% in 17 days !

Hi all,

I don't post much here, but I've been lurking around and reading the topics here for a while now. I've recently started a challenge to beat the game as fast as possible, been updating my progress in a topic I created in Gamefaqs forums, here's a link to the topic (mods please remove it if you consider this advertising for another forum):

A bit more details:

Got 100% in 17 days (NTSC version btw), daily stats:

Day 1: 4.7%
Day 2: 8.8%
Day 3: 19.6%
Day 4: 26.1%
Day 5: 31.5%
Day 6: 37.6%
Day 7: 59.0%
Day 8: 67.5%
Day 9: 70.2%
Day 10: 72%
Day 11: 75%
Day 12: 82.3%
Day 13: 84%
Day 14: 93%
Day 15: 99.8%
Day 16: 99.8% (an entire day to practice for M 34)
Day 17: 100 % !!

Since I wanted to finish the game as fast as possible, it's obvious that I B-Speced a fairly large amount of races, but since I already had powerful cars for those races (Mostly factory races and of course Endurance races), I didn't bother wasting time A-Specing 'em.

Also, some of you might think that I'm lying (you have every reason to), I'd be happy to proof it to you, I just don't know how (If you do, please tell me how). If there aren't any way for proving the results, I'm just happy that I did the challenge and I know what I accomplished :).
 
At first I thought you were referring to in game days... :dopey: I think I was at your pace for the first two days. ;) Nice job though.
 
I've been at it for a couple of years :)
I will make it to 100% some day.
Only a couple of Endurance races and the F1 championship are still unbeaten.
 
wowww thats alot of GT4. Im only at 60 something percent and i've been at it for almost half a year.
 
I've had the game for almost 2 years (got the game 5 days after it was released) and I'm only just a shade over 55%....of course I did lose my PS2 for a period of time, which has stopped me from doing stuff.
 
I am betting that many of you who have been at it for years (like myself) and are only partially through got distracted. I went nearly six months only gaining one or two percent because I kept playing with cars. I'd see a car I was racing against and want it, or I would win a car and decided to go play with it.

Some days I sit down and think I just want to drive, so I get in a car and just cruise around Nurburgring for a while.

Then, life happens. You have a job, wife, kids, real car, etc.

Plus, none of us set out to see just how fast we can do it. I also have other games I play as well.
 
Well done, I don't know how to beat the F1 chamionship, but that's another story. As footkiller said, I play to drive, when I had GT4 I went almost a year only playing Arcade mode. My problem was that I couldn't find a car that I could afford. After a year I eventuly found one, a PT cruiser, and bought it.
 
Its funny how, if you really sit down and concentrate on completing races, how fast your percent goes up and how much money you accumulate without trying. I sat at 25 percent for about 2 years, then I went to 78 percent in about 1 month just because I started focusing on completing races.!
