okay... when im drifting i can get the rear end out nicely and i can controll the car well throughtthe turn... but when i get about 3/4 a turn (almost any turn) i get MAJOR traction bite in the front and i get launched at the wall....

what can i do to fix this...

if it helps i just get this with FR cars

if you're talking about sliding towards the outside on a turn, your spring rate has to be adjusted. change the front spring rate to something quite a bit higher (eg. if front was 6, make it 12. if rear was 4, make it 8). what you're trying to achieve is balance. try reading some good tuning guides in the tuning forum for some other (better) ways to solve your traction loss. =)

good luck fixing your car!

tofu guy is right

no, whats happening is the rear is gaining traction, your fronts should always have traction. but your rear is gaining traction while your still countersteering towards the wall.
what you need to do is feel when this is about to happen, and when you can feel it reduce your c/s or give it more gas or do something to transfer some weight to the front or get more traction loss at the rear.
it happens to everyone, you will get around your problem eventually.

Im going to agree with what everyone's said. This problem isn't new, and has been encounted by nearly everyone who drifts in GT4, Some good settings, and practice will prevent it from happening. 👍
