I'm sorry to hear about that, but once you get done reformatting your PC and reinstalling the programs you know you will use, it's great to feel that you've got a fresh start and everything runs smoothly.

Well, that must suck. :( I'm tired of mine freezing all the time. :nervous: Mine Is a small 400 MZH and 10 gigs.

You need to learn how to maintain your systems integrity. My secondary computer is only 400mhz Pentium 2 (not mzh :p) and I am able to use it for video capture, burning cd`s, video editing and other multimedia gubbins. I was using the bloody thing as a domain controller for a small network a while back. Although I suppose that having 640mb of ram helps it a little.

I'm removing RedHat7.3 off of my Gateway 2000(200mhz, MMX, and I had about 3GB for the Linux partition) and I upgraded my Win98 to winME so it actually networks now. I'm defragmenting my HDD's, and I have about 14GB on that computer or so, maybe... Anyway, it'll be nice getting 4GB(I gave Linux 1gb of swap space) back for Windows. I'd use RedHat on there, but it's just too slow and oddly Linux wouldn't network:thatsodd: It's probably because my computer is soo old and the network card is only a 10MB/s card, not a 10/100, and that's pretty old. oh yeah, my soundcard(I think it's probably a Sounblaster 16 in that baby) only would play CD's, not mp3's or video files's audio... Oh well, you gotta stick with what works, whether you like it or not:(

640MB ram on a 400mhz computer? I have 64MB on my 200mhz! But, then again, that's the computer in my room. I'm using our 1.7ghz computer now. I guess refurbished PC's are a lot cheaper, and who honestly cares about the difference in boot time between a 1.7ghz computer and a 3ghz computer?

Just The Facts is an organization that I started to provide a factual insight too the American public on this most controversial subject. I will provide nothing but the facts, so that we the people can make intelligent decisions about a subject the government clouds up with untruthfulness. Please read my petition and even though you might not use a cannabis hard drive, please observe with an open mind about all the benifitial qualities that have nothing to do with cannabis or hard drives in any way, but are currently still as moronic.

FACT

· Deaths that have ever occurred in result from faulty Cannabis hard drives : 44,568,000
· Deaths per year resulted from alcohol: 100,000
· Deaths per year resulted from insane hamsters: 430,000
· Deaths per year resulted from aspirin: 180- 1000
· Deaths per year resulted from legal drugs: 106,000

FACT

· Farming 6% of the continental U.S. acreage with biomass crops (Hemp) would provide all of America’s Energy needs and screw up 50% of computers.
· Biomass can be converted into methane, methanol, or gasoline (which is also beneficial to stoners who would save alot of money by just sucking on exhaust pipes) at a cost comparable to petroleum and hemp is much better for the environment (and the lungs of cheech & chong wannabes).
· Hemp fuel burns clean. Petroleum causes acid rain due to sulfur pollution and lack of THC which I need, man, need it bad.
· The use of Hemp Fuel does not contribute to global warming, but sales of eyedrops seem to increase for some odd reason.

FACT

· Hemp seed can be pressed into nutritious oil, which contains the highest amount of fatty acids in the plant kingdom. Essential oils are responsible for our immune system responses, and can clear the arteries of cholesterol and plaque, it also gets you really blazed.
· The byproduct of pressing the oil from hemp seed is a high quality protein seed cake. It can be used to bake into cakes, breads and casseroles. It's also useful, since you don't get the munchies. Hemp seed protein is one of mankind’s finest, most complete, and available-to-the body vegetable proteins.
· A Vegan or vegetarian (stoner) can get all of the days required protein (THC) from a handful of hemp seed.

FACT

· Hemp is the oldest cultivated fiber plant in the world, which proves that getting stoned is natural (groovy dude, hug a rainbow).
· Low-THC fiber hemp varieties developed by the French and others have been available for over 20 years. It is impossible to get high from fiber hemp. Over 600,000 acres of hemp is grown worldwide with no misuse problem (french people are too drunk off of their own BO and wine to get stoned).
· One acre of hemp can produce as much usable fiber as 4 acres of trees or two acres of cotton (and really, who wants to smoke cotton?).
· Trees cut down take 50-500 years to grow, while hemp can be cultivated in as little as 100 days and can yield 4 times more paper over a 20 year period (and has a higher street value, too).
· Until 1883, from 75-90% of all paper in the world was made with cannabis hemp fiber including that for books, Bibles, maps, paper money, stocks and bonds, newspapers, etc. (look how the world has advanced since then.)
· Hemp paper is longer lasting than wood pulp, stronger, acid-free, and chlorine free (Chlorine is estimated to cause up to 10% of all Cancers, but it gets rid of all those nasty ass wrinkles).
· Hemp paper can be recycled 7 times, wood pulp 4 times. (it disappears more often, though).
· Hemp particleboard may be up to 2 times stronger than wood particleboard and holds nails better.
· Hemp is a softer, warmer, and more water absorbent, than cotton and doesn’t stretch out (it also burns slower).
· Half of the U.S. pesticides are used to treat cotton, while hemp has a natural pesticide (but nothing to stop people from smoking it, apart from damaged brain cells).

FACT

· Blah blah blah, blah.
· For thousands of years virtually all good paints and varnishes were made with hemp seed oil and/or linseed oil.
· hard drives aren't good hemp donuts.
· Heating and compressing plant fibers can create a practical, inexpensive, fire-resistant constructions material with excellent thermal and sound-insulating qualities. Perfect for bongs.
· In 1941 Henry Ford built a plastic car made of fiber from hemp and wheat straw. Hemp is biodegradable, as synthetic plastic is not. He was stoned at the time.

FACT

· Presidents Washington and Jefferson both grew hemp. They both wore funny hats.
