OK I have enabled my phone to tell me where I am at, so at least it will give me the lat. and long. of my location.

Let's take this a step further. How would I be able to find out where my phone is at if I am not at my phone? (Aka if my phone gets lost and I want to try and track it) Maybe some type of program I could use to track it down, but I would also need to know what type of input to put in so it goes to MY phone...get me so far?

Oh, and if anyone asks, phone is LG6100 Verizon.

I don't think you can. The GPS satellites tell your phone where it is, but nothing knows where your phone is, (except your phone company, and they don't use GPS.)

I'd just get one of those little leather cases that clips onto your belt. Failing that, just ensure you have nice, secure pockets. ;)

There is a way to track people's phones, but I'm not sure if it's anything to do with this feature. It usually costs you, too, and the only examples I've seen are for businesses. It's a cool idea, though. Just remember that you're screwed if your battery runs out :P.

I just googled cell phone tracker, and you get a ton of results.
