GR3 car suggestions? Will I win one?

I’m a long time GTer, but I’m a little late to get in on this one. Just got it last week (a few days before it went on sale in the store:banghead:). I’m having fun with it, but I had a question about GR3 cars. I need it for a mission (3-7 I think). Will I win one? I have 20 cars but apparently no GR3 car. I don’t want to spend money because I NEED that XJ13, which is gonna take a while. But I’ll do it if I have to. So if I have to buy one, are they all the same price? And, if they are, which one? Or is it just preference? Thanks!

Completing 26 miles / 40km a day will give you a "Daily Workout Prize" which is any car from the game at random. Group 3 cars ll 450,000 credits. 911, M6 are my reccomendations.

Thank you sir! I’ll just be patient. Pretty much all my cars have been won.
 
Circuit Experience might be a good place to work on getting a Gr3 -- you need Gold to get a car though. Working though Driving School might also help you win a Gr3 -- Gold is not required to win a car -- just complete each section. Good luck on your quest for the Jag -- However, you may not find it is as valuable a purchase as the credits require. If it is what you really love --- Go for it. Too bad we don't have the gift/trade option from GT5 --

Yeah, I’m only buying the Jag for its looks. And to be a bit different if I’m honest. It’s probably my personal number 1 Best looking car. I haven’t tried circuit experience, but I don’t think I’ll have much issue with gold. Im not that good, just very determined:lol:. Currently working through driving school, so I’ll just continue that and see what happens. Thanks!
 
I think you win a Gr. 3 car in Mission Challenges before you need it. The GTS prize car gods have a dark sense of humor. Try to get through those early missions and get the daily workout prize car before you purchase. Big disappointment when you buy a car and then win the same car within a day.

Funny enough, I literally just won a GR. 3 car now. I won it in the Driving test series (after completing level 32). It was the Mustang, which is the last one I would’ve picked, but I don’t care. It’s just one mission test. Thanks everyone! I’m glad I was patient
 
The Mustang wasn't my first choice either. However, you will find it is a stable, handles well, as you become accustomed to the Gr3 competitions. Good place to start, even though I don't think I have used mine much since the beginning weeks.
 
I've purchased the majority of my Group 3 cars, very few I've actually won. They are extremely difficult to obtain which has annoyed me quite a bit.
