Hey, good find. I was able to see the Plam[Palm]Strip that was mentioned in another thread.

You're wasting your time. It doesn't exist! Thousands of others before you have tried in vain. If you DO find it, you'll be like the Lewis & Clark of GT2, though.
 
GT2.. hehe nvm i just found out that it's "the cardigans - my favorite game"
 
That intro to GT2 looks different to the GT2 PAL that I had, it's more fast paced whereas the PAL version was a slow build up and then hit you hard, I particularly remember the slow pass over rome as one key moment where their was no lyrics.

Great to see the original GT intro though, I tried capturing it but unfortunately GT wouldn't play in my PS2. lol

Yeah, that's not the GT2 PAL intro, it's NTSC. They made a very cool remix of the The Cardigans theme for PAL.

What the hell? I have the exact same intro and song on my disc :confused:
But I remember that I had a cracked GT2 disc before, and it had a
different song but the same intro.

I have the NTSC version, but that intro is different from the one I have (a few key points in the music varies about 57 seconds in) and it sounds nothing like the PAL version.

That's the baby right there ! I love that version and the GT2 intro is the best intro for all GT's, well the PAL version anyway. Thanks for uploading that, I did have it captured myself but I deleted it and forgot I only had it on yousendit.

I also exported the music into an mp3 but it had slight jump at only one part, I'm waiting to get the game back so I can do a proper copy. (I actually use that song in one of my TDU vids.)

Gets you pumped up, don't it? :) I like all of them but GT1 has that cool build-up and the Chemical Bros is phat. I don't like the Cardigans or Lenny so much, even tho I like those intros, too.

OT: quick question... in the GT2 NSTC version's intro, at about half way, or 1 minute 9s it shows that white/green/yellow/red EG6 hatch. i know its a well known car and all.. but can you get it in the game? and if so.. how?

Go to the Honda dealrship and buy it, then buy the [R] mod for it ;)
 
THE GT2 PAL intro plays the Dance mix of "My Favorite Game" while
the NTSC plays the Original.
 
The name of the PAL version of GT2's intro song is:
"The Cardigans - Losing My Favourite Game (Faithless Remix)"

This remix is very hard to find. I have been looking for a long, long time to find it, but no-one seems to have it. :(

BTW, if anyone does find it, please let me know.
