What is the your car MOD wishlist for Gran Turismo 2 Plus? With MOD is intended a new car, and not a model customization. For example a Ford Fiesta. This is not possible for now, as MMRivit have said in the GT2 Plus forum:

"Once mesh conversion to the format GT2 uses is possible, sure. Until then only model porting from the demos and slight modifications of existing models are doable" -MMRivit

After this, this is the my car list, for now:

Alfa Romeo:
- Alfa Romeo 75
- Alfa Romeo 33

Audi:
- Audi Quattro
- Audi A2
- Audi RS2

BMW:
- BMW M3 Sport Evolution
- BMW M1
- BMW 2002 Turbo

Chevrolet:
- Chevrolet Impala
- Chevrolet Chevelle SS
- Chevrolet El Camino SS

Datsun:
- Datsun 510

FIAT:
- FIAT Barchetta

Ford:
- Ford Capri
- Ford Escort and Sierra Cosworht
- Ford Fiesta

Lancia:
- Lancia 037 Stradale
- Lancia Beta
- Lancia Thema

Mercedes-Benz:
- Mercedes-Benz 190E Evolution

Opel:
- Opel Kadett
- Opel Calibra (NOT DTM)

Plymouth:
-Plymouth Prowler

Renault:
- Renault Twingo
- Renault 5 Turbo
- Renault Clio Williams

Subaru:
- Subaru Impreza P1

Volkswagen:
- Volkswagen Beetle I
- Volkswagen Golf I/II/III GTI

There is literally no point in making car requests for the mod as it's not possible to make custom models, I can't model, I have no intention of fulfilling requests, and I've already hit GT2's car limit.

As an Idea, if you can why you don't add some Australian cars, another idea is to add the Jensen brand in the British zone, I always love in GT4 the insane amount of power you can add to the interceptor

No and no.
Creating new cars is not happening for now, and adding a full brand to the game is most likely never gonna happen either, because menu screens and their data is mostly not editable.

If you want to give car ideas, look for special variants of cars that already exist withing GT2. Anything else is not gonna happen for now.

I found this vid some guy put a new car model into the game. I find this very interesting and am unsure if this is real or the guy faked it somehow?

.

I'm curious to know since if this is real and possible I'd model new cars for gt2.

Also, you can see when he's jumping between the menus while race modifying the Eclipse, that the car is still spinning after pressing the Buy and Go Back buttons. Not to mention the weird reflections behavior.

The black box around the car is a massive giveaway, as the compression on the video made the black on the screen grayish. The screens in GT2 where you can see the car is seamless (except the Race mod menu as the box is smaller than the light circle). The reflections are duller, and move on the car to smoothly (as does the car rotation, thanks to floating point precision, something the PS1 is famously lacking)

Is it possible to edit meshes like you did @submaniac93 and kind of update/facelift cars ?
I am thinking specifically about :
BMW E43 series to its facelift version
Chevrolet Camaro 97' to its facelift version
Honda NSX Type S zero to the 2005 Honda NSX version
Opel Astra 2.0 SRi to its Rally Andros Trophy version
And I guess if editing is possible then the base framework could be copied like template to add new cars from heavily edited "old entries"
I really have no clue, it's a question :)

Editing textures by now is pretty trivial, if a slightly slow process. Editing models is a pain in the butt and pretty much "expert" level. It's required to be able to use hexadecimal editing skills and patience. IT's not possible to modify 3D models in any actually practical way
