hey guys whats up
been a while since i posted anythin but this i gotta tell ya!
i was in frankfurt at the IAA '03 last friday and at the Nissan stand u had me surprised...as there were PS2s with a racing game there. they had put em up in front of a row of 5 350Zs i looked at it and couldnt believe it...the car was a gto the track was NYC and the looks well it was bascially gt concept only a lil more accurate with lines and edges. the resolution was also not gt concept level but still plenty good. there were about 30 to 40 cars from the nsx LM edition from concept to the wrx sti from GT3 to the Pontiac GTO and Stindray Corvette from uhhh....GT4!haha!
it was awesome im tellin ya the real news though are the physics...especially in the corvette in new york i felt reminded to that one article posted here...PD sayin its gonna feel not that much different at the beginning but the more u play the more u feel the real difference to previous games...i gotta agree with that and say that the one thing i have taken away from this experience and im not the only one...is that it finally is absolutely realistic. for instance the vette powerslides with nice sound out of a turn then after catchin it it performs a way more realistic counter break out in the other direction and keeps doin it until i caught it about 4 to 5 times and then just growls on...i LUVED it...and for it being 30% id say that was spectacular...even though the engine wasnt there yet the reflections, shadows and paint effects were about twice as good as in concept - i **** u not guys...i was pumped when i saw it, paralyzed when i played and now im just glad i got the chance!
ill see ya,
pete
ps: for questions mail me or message me or whatever u like best
