Hi Guys,
I collect Gran Turismo builds and have dumped/published the GT3 Store Demo Vol.1 (PCPX-96311), GT5 UK 1609 Build, GT2 PAL Preview, GTC Copen Special Edition (SCED-51352), GTC 350Z PAL (SCED-51097) and the GT Sport EU Closed Beta (CUSA-07836). I spent several hundred euros on the builds so that these builds were preserved. I also captured these builds on real hardware and publish the videos on Youtube. I want to create some sort of archive of Gran Turismo builds on Youtube.

There are some interesting builds of Gran Turismo 4 Prologue that have already been dumped to the public. I have published videos of these builds, which I would like to present to you. I am not allowed to share download links for the builds, otherwise I will violate the guidelines of GTP. (Even if it is a demo build) But the builds are very easy to find

It's fascinating how many GT4P builds PDI creates. I would like to present these builds to you with all Informations I found.
The aim of this thread is also to encourage some collectors to provide undumped builds. If you have an undumped build and would like to be a part of preserving GT builds, please send me a PM :)The preservation of these builds is very important to me and some builds may contain content that is helpful for modding Gran Turismo games.

BMW M5 Special Demo?!?!
1st time seeing that pic & reality of the demo.
Considering they made BMW 1 Series Virtual Drive Dealership, I wouldn't be surprised if there were at least 20 demos of GT on PS2!
"Hidden in the game, a BMW M5 can be found, however here it's listed as the "BMW Concept M5", like the name listed on its nameplate; this version was previously added to the European version of Gran Turismo 4 Prologue."
Taken from https://tcrf.net/Proto:Gran_Turismo_4/BMW_1_Series_Virtual_Drive

Very Interesting 🤔🤔

Now it is confirmed that the alfa romeo demo was released in Bolonia not in Torino as mentioned in the translation of "Notable GT colaborations".

Another never-before-seen pre-release GT4P demo discovered. Picture of it is attached, in addition to links to Japanese articles about it published on October 2003: https://s.response.jp/article/img/2003/10/22/54950/31853.html https://s.response.jp/article/2003/10/22/54950.html?from=vsimg_text_back_1

There is a 2nd Edition of the GT4P Subaru demo that is already documented in this thread (probably compiled in late-April 2004 or beginning of May 2004), which implies the existence of a 1st Edition of the GT4P Subaru demo. It might mean that this here might be the GT4 SUBARU Version 1st Edition demo probably compiled in October 2003 (5 months after the GT Concept Subaru demo), which was showcased in the Tokyo Motor Show of that year.

The UI on the left and right screens of the sim in the picture is different too from the UI seen in that video of the GT4P SUBARU Version 2nd Edition already on YouTube, which is just the plain Gran Turismo 4 logo (without the "Prologue" text), implying it has to be compiled before GT4 Prologue's final release.

Furthermore, two other GT4P builds were playable during the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show: the initial Tokyo Motor Show demo build (not to be confused with the earlier separate Tokyo Game Show demo build already documented here), and the Honda HSC Demo Version that is mentioned in Polyphony Digital's website.

Video footage of GT4 Prologue Subaru Simulator
Around the 2:07

That's actually the GT Concept Subaru Driving Simulator demo build. It was made in May 2003, before the GT4 Prologue Subaru Edition demo build let alone GT4 Prologue in general was even a thing.
