Hey guys, so this is my second video here, I think the Historic Car cup was one of the hardest races in the game if you leave out the Licenses and Special Events.
So if you have trouble with this track, watch my video, I have the settings etc in there :)
The Monaco track was super easy, went first in the second corner and never gave it up :P beast of a car!

Because it was a long track I did a replay edit of it from different views :) Also this was before we could turn off the HUD.

I'm having trouble winning with my Shelby cobra
What were the suspension settings on yours?
 
I won those races with a fully tuned ferrari 512bb, and it was almost not manageable but I did it:sly:
 
I won the Deep Forset with no problem with my P4, but how do you win the one at Cote de Azur?!?!? That is impossible! Any suggestions> I have a Cobra is it better?

I used the Jaguar that I acquired by winning the Indy 500 and golded this event easily.

The trick lies in the first corner. Aim for fast acceleration (maybe think of adjusting downwards your top speed) and brake late so that you'll be leading from the start. Then all is left is the job of blocking the AI - given the tight track of Monaco it should be easy for you to prevent mindless AI cars from getting past you at all.
 
I am still waiting before I use up (haven't even accumulated) 20 million credits in total for a car to take part in an A-Spec challenge :ouch:
 
A lot of people have said the RM Z28 is a good car for this. I used the 2J myself.

I, for example, have a very hard time controlling the oversteer, so I had to use a "better" car.
It's harder in B-Spec, though.

I beat mine with the 1963 Corvette Z06 Race Car. Very challenging as well. Great time though!

I just beat this with my fully tuned Cobra but it was a pain in my behind because of that stupid car that look like a couch with rocket engins on.
 
Corvette Z06 (C2) Race Car '63. Won each race by 5+ seconds.
 
I just used my Camaro, RM'd it and it won by miles!
 
I did the same as gtbjw and gt5-honda
63 vette RC
$700,000, oil change, rc tires, NO TUNING. Each by 5 sec plus
