Gran Turismo 5 sound trouble

So today i was talking with my friend about how to get the best sound in GT5. He told me that putting the audio setting on "Large Theatre" would make the sound way better. Though, instead there was no sound at all. So i tried to switch back, but still no sound. :ouch:
I have tried some different audio settings, but still no sound.
Has anyone else tried this? It's really annoying to drive without sounds, so please help!
 
It's probably the HDMI cable, unplug it and plug it back in and it'll work. I get this every now and again with GT5 and a couple of other games.
 
I get this sometimes... not sure if it's my TV or the game. Usually when I quit the game I get sound again.
 
Check what sound settings you've ticked for your PS3 to output, and what your amplifier is capable of outputting (I assume you have this connected through a HT Recevier?).
 
Its a loose HDMI cable.. , my issue was loss of video and audio , i jiggled it out REAL good =D never had a problem since!
