Hey Guys,

I'm new here... and this might sound a little stupid, but a few months I've stopped playing GT5 (before Spec 2.0 and XL came out) and I've sold the game, now I want to buy it again, but I see there is a Spec 2.0 and a XL in the market... I'm planning to buy XL, but it does include those updated features of Spec 2.0 with extra features from it's own edition? Like Spec 2.0 has endurance race saving, so that's in XL, right?

Spec 2.0 disc is the European disc I believe. XL is the American release. Both have the Spec 2.0 update and any updates up to January or February I think. Both should have the Racing car pack, Suit pack, Paint pack (I think), Special Stage Route X, and Car Pack 2.

Okay, so basically, my question is a Yes, right?
 
It's essentially the old disc, except it includes all the updates until January. It comes with a download code for all the DLC except Speed Test and Car Pack 3. (Speed Test is highly useful, I suggest buying it.) You'll still have to update it to 2.07 though.

It's got all the updates through 2.0 on the disk, which makes it a lot faster to copy them to your HD than if you had to download them. Still have to download the updates that came after that though. As others have said, you get all the DLC except for Speed Test and Car Pack 3.

But yeah, it's got the save feature during endurance races.

It's identical to what you'd get with the regular GT5 if you installed all the updates and bought all the DLC except for those two mentioned. There aren't any "special" features except for the lower price and the convenience of having the updates on the disk.
