Just starting the game can give you a MAJOR headache!!
After a Fun couple hours of call of duty ( with perfect connection ) i deceided i wanted to hit the track, so as soon as i starteed the game, and got to the startup screen, it wouldnt let me goto GT mode, or anything else.. like it was frozen, but it wasnt, then all of a sudden it logs me out of PSN and lets me pick gt mode, and when i try to sign back in, it says i have a connection problem... I messed around for about 12 minutes with this problem, until i just said **** IT! and went outside... btw. this isnt the 1st time its happened to me.. anyone else have this or a similar expireince with the game? :ouch:
 
I don't think that's a problem with GT5. Yes, it's been freezing and lagging more since the last patch, but it doesn't do what you said it's been doing. Most likely a problem on your end, your net connection may not be strong enough for gt5 or some other problem.
 
Try and clear your cache or if your not going to play online, don't sign in to PSN and
it probably won't freeze, but I do know what your talking about because this has happened to me but even the PS button didn't work so I had turn the whole system off
 
I was reading something by Polophony Digital I think, they said if youre having problems with loading screens and startups your supposed to go offline, I think you would sign back in though
 
yeah, i get constant problems with the online mode (not what you've described specifically).

Tried to race today but got a long loading screen. then when it was done the race was already 90 seconds old. just me and 4 other cars left on the grid. GT5's online mode simply isn't fit for purpose.
 
Pretty sure that's not GT's problem there. If it's signing you out of psn that's usually not the game.

And I laughed at your title.... GT's many flaws.... You listed one.
 
you need better internet. i dont have any issues online. maybe your joining a room that has quality set higher to what you internet can handle

One of the reasons I always mention GT5's online play as "not stable" and "doesn't work properly".

Hasn't happened to me in a while though, thankfully.
 
The game is heavy right now alot of updates and details
freezing will happen alot
one of my friend can't race in offline mode ( a spec or b spec ) the game freeze thats happened after the last patch
