When we talk about serious racing, we must understand that they have qualifications. This one doesn't. Therefore, in my opinion, the overclocked AI is out of place here. It's challenging, yes, but not the most difficult. (sorry for translate)
imo it's good that casual players can't keep up with the strato mod ai, because if every mod catered to them, then the well-seasoned players would be bored with every race. this mod already caters well to the casuals, whilst strato is for those who are looking for more difficult, serious racing.

yeah i get your point about quali, but i don't think that's a reason not to have difficult ai. the way i see it is that gran turismo has a more sim-cade vibe, so the races not being properly structured is kind of the 'silly' part. the actual events contain nearly everything an actual race would, but lack the proper race weekend structure that irl races have, probably due to limitations. even without certain elements, it is nice to have a version of gran turismo with gruelling ai for those who need stronger competition.

The Strato Mod is interesting, but there are some races where it's a bit lacking in my opinion; there are some races where you're really forced to use the top car of the category to at least be competitive. I had quite a few battles in the Japanese IB championship against that famous Tommy Kaira ZZ; I have to admit that even in 580p it's pretty fast compared to the other cars in the championship, Even with a well-tuned and restricted GTR n24 GT Academy for the most favorable power curve possible, I was getting smoked in acceleration 🤣🤣, but the downside of the Strato is that you are Being forced to often use the top car doesn't leave much choice in certain championships because they won't be at all equivalent to certain others. However, I really appreciate the IA Which is surprising at times, which has blocked my path a few times in order to defend itself and fact that fuel consumption and tire wear are active in all races; it would be fantastic to have that in career mode. And if the creator of this mode ever needs a little idea, I would be very happy to have some endurance races with some production cars like the 350pp, 400pp, 425pp, 450pp, 475pp or Only Gran Turismo race cars, or 4WD, RWD, MR, FWD, rally cars models; that would be really great! And fuel consumption and tire wear are also factors in all races. I admit I'm a fan of long races Whether with fast or slow cars 🙈🙈,

Hi, I think the difficulty should increase as you progress through the game. The Strato mod has very strict requirements at the beginning, which might discourage casual players.🫣
Strato Mod on Gran Turismo 6 is for Experts only, whilst Career Expansion Mod is suitable for every range of levels, from Beginner all the way to Legendary players.

Yes. I also ever found myself in a tough all race long battle during DTM vs Super GT 500 race as well in Strato Mod and i won by just 0.009 seconds.

Indeed, but it wasn't a criticism 😉, that's exactly it, you don't have a choice but to make a mistake in choosing your car either. I alternate between the two, Strato for serious play and career mode to use a bit of everything. But I must admit I would greatly appreciate a small update to the career mode With fuel consumption and tire wear throughout all the races, plus a few endurance events with production cars, I like it when it lasts a long time, Like some races on Strato ahah🤣🤣

Exactly. 🤣

Plus, the race length on Gran Turismo 6 Strato Mod is 10 Times longer than on Career Expansion Mod especially on IA class Races. Normally, on Career Expansion Mod, race lengths on non Endurance Races on IA only last between 5-7 laps max, whilst on Strato Mod, it can reach like 50 laps on Gran Turismo NASCAR Cup, and like 12-15 laps on Gran Turismo World Championship (only up to 6 laps on Career Expansion Mod, and on Super Class Races, also up to maximum of 12 laps each, like Japanese GT Car Championship, Grand Tour Euro League, Gran Turismo Heroes, and FIA GT All Stars events).

Yes, that's really the aspect I loved, It's really great to have so many round and to be able to take full advantage of the machine when they're fast; that's the only small detail missing on career mode. Fuel consumption, tire wear and a few extra laps on certain tracks, and a bit more endurance with production cars because I like to drive all sorts of things.I wouldn't mind doing an hour or two of running at 400 PP or even 350 PP

Rolling Starts on Gran Turismo 6 Spec II Career Expansion Mod is now much more intense since its now much closer distance than it was originally on Vanilla version!

I love using this my Favourite driver name for Gran Turismo 6 as well!

I hope in Gran Turismo 6 Career Mod 4.7 there is a championship event based on this:

"Nijigasaki High School Idol Club/Nijigasaki Prototype Race Cars Championship".

"A 6-Race event featuring top tier Le Mans Race Cars based from all the characters from the famous Nijigasaki High School Idol Club".

Cars: Sauber C9, Mazda 787B, Audi R10 TDI, Audi R10 TDI Stealth Model, 787B Stealth Model, XJR-9, V12 LMR, Minolta Toyota 88C-V, Bentley Speed 8, Pescarolo Courage Peugeot C60 '03, Courage Hybride Judd 2005, Audi R8 Race Car '01, Audi R8 Playstation Team Oreca '05, Peugeot 908 Team Peugeot total, 908 Oreca Matmut.

Race 1: Indianapolis Road Course.
Race 2: Circuit de la Sarthe 2013.
Race 3: Cape Ring.
Race 4: Special Stage Route 5 Reverse.
Race 5: Deep Forest Reverse.
Race 6: Spa Francorchamps (Night Time).

12 laps in each Race (5 laps for Circuit de la Sarthe 2013), 350.000 credits for each Race win and 1.200.000 credits for championship win.

I think it will use one of these four pictures as thumbnails for this new championship. ☺️

Here we go again...

You've already requested that in this thread and been told no. Rather than repeatedly asking every single GT5 and GT6 mod author to make your extremely specific event themed around little girls, please just learn to do it yourself. Here's a link to some documentation on how to do so.

High Speed Ring 35 Lap endurance race challenge on Gran Turismo 6 Career Expansion Mod 2026 Spec II is so much fun! And intense... ☺️

I already told you that's not my idea.
Please stop making these requests.

alright dude, this needs to stop. this is just ragebait at this point. you request this event (5th time now), then people react to it, you give a like to their replies and then continue interacting as if nothing ever happened. it's not a bad concept, but you shouldn't push these ideas on mod creators, and you certainly shouldn't post just to get a reaction from people.

@alanpurwantia not to pile on but if you really want these events in the game, you should look into learning how to mod events into the game yourself. All the information you need to do this has been provided in the link you were given earlier in the thread. It's ok to make suggestions for the mod, but please don't keep requesting the same thing over and over again after it's been politely declined.

You clealry enjoy Gran Turismo mods, and that's great to see, but remember the mods are being made by people in thier own time and provided for free and they will have thier own plans and vision for thier mods. If you want to get in on it and create your own mod with the features and events you would like to see, that would be great.

hey there, just wanted to say great job on making the static environments more visible, it makes the races easier to do! :) now i think the next step is to fix the dynamic layouts. some tracks go to almost nighttime where they're basically unplayable, and some don't go far enough! with these changes, the tracks would be a lot more equal with eachother, allowing those who love time trials to enjoy the view, especially in photo mode. below is a list of suggested time frames for each circuit (the new one is always on the right), and this should keep the track playable while using its fullest potential. this was done on the lowest brightness setting (-1.0), so they will always work! there may be a couple ones that overshoot slightly (mainly the new tracks with dynamic time), but that can always be adjusted. as always though, this is just a suggestion, so don't feel pressured, and have a great day! :)

timeframes:
brands hatch: 04:30 - 21:00 → 24h cycle (it has working headlights)
silverstone: 06:20 - 20:15 → 06:35 - 20:00

Hey, I was going to suggest this idea too; it would make the modification even better! There are some tracks where you have to really strain your eyes. I used to think it was just me.🤓

Did Eiger Nordwand also has working headlights if the time is set to 16:20-21:20?

headlights don't work, which is why i assume they didn't suggest a full 24h cycle
Alanoh, which are your favourite race events on Gran Turismo 6 Career Mod & Strato Mods? For me my top 5 favourite events are these:
1. Gran Turismo Heroes (5 Rounds, 12 laps per race).
2. Le Mans 4 Hours (4 hour race against top end LMP race Cars & GT1 Cars between 650-720PP limit).
3. GT World Championship (5 Rounds).
4. GT Challenge Class 1 (4 Rounds with top Le Mans Prototype cars & GT Class Cars with much closer distance rolling starts).
5. Experimental Prototype Challenge Class 1 (5 Single Races with Cars that can reach 500kph+, like X2011 and X2014 Fan Car).

What about you? ☺️

well my favourite classes overall are super and national a, and a few highlight events include le mans 4 hours, fia gt all stars, gt class 2, sports car class 2, convertible car class 3 and motegi 3 hour

The Honda HSV-010 GT500 now sounds a lot more realistic with Career Mod on Spec II applied. 10/10, even though the original sound is already fantastic. ☺️

I also took this car for a five lap arcade Race on the 1980s layout of Monza.

@Lunard I finally got around to installing the mod. I love the variety in races, excellent stuff.

I think this is a bug, but I'm not sure:

I think it was in High Speed Ring, or one of the tracks with a tunnel in the Sunday Cup, it was the event you're pushed to in the tutorial: in the tunnel, the lighting on the cars got messed up, as well as the lighting on the interior view. Like, the cars got really bright, not the road, just the car models.

Later on, I tried a Single Race on SSR5 and it's obscenely dark. Made sure high beams were up but still unplayable. I had to turn the exposure in the game way up.

For the second one, I got a new TV... So maybe there's a setting I messed up. But combined with the first makes me think the mod haa done something to the lighting.

I also encountered that same problem while doing a High Speed Ring 35 Lap Endurance Challenge. The Cars just too bright when entering the tunnel. All 16 of them.

Hello.
I just changed the environment parameters from these tracks by others from other ones, so, some graphic glitches can occur.
But for SSR5, I didn't see any problem similar to what you mentioned.
In fact, it's even clearer according to the images I posted, giving the track a different look.

Hello, Lunard! The Endurance Races on Gran Turismo 6 Career Mod Spec II is absolutely enjoyable and intense, especially the High Speed Ring 35 Lap Endurance Challenge and the Nurburgring 4 Hours Race on Nurburgring Type V (using Race Cars between 500-600 PP limit like the GT3 Cars of Audi R8 LMS and Nissan Falken R34GTR 2004)! The weather that changed almost anytime on Nurburgring 4 Hours Race also a big welcome. 😊

You don't find these graphical glitches distracting? Really takes away from the experience imo
