I assume you're wondering, "whut? Angry Birds?". Well, in an interview Kazunori said he played Angry Birds (please help me find the source). But still, there are quite a lot of differences between a console racing simulator and an arcade game for mobile devices.
In GT6, you race a car around a track against AI or humans. In Angry Birds, you toss birds at pigs.
But there IS one similarity between both these games that nobody has noticed. Care to guess? ...nope...not that either...hmmmm-nope. It's the three-star system. In Angry Birds, depending on how many points you earn in a level, you'll get either none, one, two, or three stars. The more stars you get, the more levels you unlock. In GT6, you get either none, one, two, or three stars depending on what position you finish. The more stars you get, the more events you unlock.
COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT.
