It’s been a quiet few weeks for news on the next game update for Gran Turismo 7, but we now have confirmation that it’ll be landing on consoles this coming week — most likely on Thursday 30th January...

What a terrible selection of cars. Whoever makes the decisions on what cars PD should add to the game, either hates actually good/interesting cars that fit into a racing game, or just hates to give the players what they want.

To put into persective, the RS5 DTM was added in March 2023, and since then, PD has prioritised terrible cars instead of even attempting to give it some other DTM cars from the same season.

I really hope the C-HR turns out not to be a C-HR and something else, because boy, there are so many great cars to add, and they choose that...

I thought the article said the only 3rd-gen Civic in the series is the touring car.

(Besides, the type code of Si is not AH but AT.)
 
My first thought was Yaris Cross rather than C-HR - it also has the ridge on the bonnet and the little protrusion under the lights.

But I'm also generally pretty bad at these so I'm more than likely missing something obvious.

I said AH-bodied first then suggested the Si was likeliest, not that it was the Si. Though I think that it is.
 
Excited about the Civic (and customization options)
Wonder what else gonna be in this update
 
Definitely on the minority here, but I am actually quite interested in the C-HR (if indeed it is), as that was the car I drove for my driving lessons. Terrible car but quite beginner friendly. :lol:

Have to wait and see full update to see if it can take the title from 1.42. I hope not.
 
I am very much looking forward to the F3500, but the rest is of no interest to me whatsoever.

This is hopefully the sort of poor selection that will be accompanied by a circuit to boost it's appeal.
