Just did one of the weekly races in the Celica GT-Four. I forgot what a monster it is. Does anyone know if TOM'S ever made a racing version of the Celica? That would be such beautiful branding.
The Celica didn’t do a huge amount of solid-surface racing beyond the early generations in the 60s/70s. Corollas and Supras got a lot more limelight.

That said, the ST165/Gen 4 was built into a GTO version for IMSA in the mid 80s, and there’s a ST205/Gen 6 that did JGTC in the lower category. And of course there’s the Gen 7 GT300 that featured in the PS2 games.

So TL;DR no Tom’s/TRD factory Celicas, but there’s definitely people out there that have done up their cars in TRD schemes either for shows or track events.

Still don't have the funds and weirdly last I checked, still unavailable. Its also not helped that its seemingly always something else at the Apartment I live that decides to break or stop working that needs to be replaced or fixed.
Fair enough, wasnt prying just curious. Its crazy that stock is still hard to find this late in the machines life. 👍

Insider Gaming article on leaked documents about Playstation Spectral Super Resolution, the DLSS-like technique that will debut on PS5 Pro. One of the games cited in the documents is probably GT7 as it is the only internal PS Studios game that actually has the cited conditions.

Game 2:
Target – Add Raytracing to gameplay

Standard PlayStation 5 achieved 60FPS without raytracing, and PlayStation 5 Pro achieved 60FPS with Raytracing.

If I had to pick a single Celica out of those, I'd pick that last one - the GT300-spec 7th-gen model that we've seen in previous games. Would make a good Gr.4 car, too, though I'm unsure if I'd want that, or perhaps the GT300-spec MR-S that's also appeared in older titles instead, as far as another Gr.4 entry for Toyota goes. Whereas I think the 2021 GT300-spec Prius would go into Gr.3 alongside the GT300-spec BRZ from that same season.

I think the gen 7 would be able to just make Group 3 with BOP. That would certainly match up to the active classes better for sure, the old touring cars in Group 4 still doesn’t sit right with me, and that’s likely where the JGTC GT-FOUR (pun intended) would be placed if it came to the game.

Question: How long has "Set by Host" been an option for grid order in lobbies? I don't remember seeing it before, but I don't know if it's just something that's been there since day one and I've just not noticed/forgotten.
