Gran Turismo 7 Wins DICE Awards Racing Game of the Year​

Gran Turismo 7 has picked up another prestigious gaming award, this time earning recognition from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) as its racing game of the year in the annual DICE Awards...

Racing game of the year for sure -- as is today with VR2 and all the content and stability issues tamed...but at launch, that version was dismal.

I would have been fine with waiting a year to get my hands on GT7 & PS5 & PSVR2.

It deserved for how well psvr2 work in gt7

I'm torn
Arguably GT7 is an outstanding technical achievement (visuals and physics mainly, even more so with the sophy AI), but it pales in comparison to earlier GTs in most aspects

Good on PD but i wish we had more games like GT , it is a shame that Project Cars was killed 😥

It’s the best racing game on PS5 imo. I’m having a blast playing it. It’s now my favourite GT game. Do wish they could give us more events/races that are like the payout grinding ones we are currently doing.



We seriously can’t do those forever. We do need more 1 hour missions and 30 minutes to 1 hour grinds added more variety of circuits is definitely need.

That says more about the landscape of racing games than the quality of GT7 as a racing game IMO.

I really hope the inevitable Spec 2.0 version makes some big changes.

How is it inevitable? PD did a spec 2 update one time and people act like it's definitely coming to GT7. And no GTSports spec 2 doesn't count as it didn't actually add any content.

They did it with GT 5 Prologue and GT5. Not sure if that counts though.
