Hello GTPlanet.
Now don't think this has been announced from Polyphony Digital. With the amount of attention focused on some of the JGTC cars, I begin to wonder. If PD came up with "Gran Turismo: Concept," could a JGTC game be possible?
Now, I know what you are thinking. "What about Top Gear GT for Game Boy Advance?" No, that game is made by Kemco, and as I heard, the game is good, then it gets old kind of quick. But think about it the entire game was devoted to the JGTC. It would mean that the game would be devoted to cars past and present. You could even race in the first official JGTC season (1994, I think) with the ugly-looking Porsches (of that time). You might even get license tests to move up to the GT500. Or to make things more interesting, can a license test. Getting the best cars mean doing one thing, playing with scenarios. Here is one:
"In 1997, the Castrol Toyota Supra GT finally defeated their arch-rivals, the Nissan Skylines. In this scenario, you may choose one of the following: (1) 'As one of the championship-winning Castrol Supra, defeat the Skylines with 3 laps to the finish at Suzuka.' or (2) 'As the driver of a Nissan Skyline GT-R, beat your Toyota Rivals and help deny them a JGTC title'."
You get to race the Mitsubishi FTO, Hondas, Toyotas, Nissans, the Chrysler Viper, the Vemac RD320, Lamborghini Diablo, McLaren F1, and such. Since this is a JGTC-sponsored game, you can also have the ability to build your own team by buying a race car, forming a team name, using custom decals, and even building your own team and deciding what clothes your Race Queens can wear. For Race Quens, you can choose whether they wear dressy sandals or platform boots (they can look sexy or evil on them), a bikini or short skirt set or hot pants set, the umbrella colors and all.
Do you think PD would take in such an idea? If you think so, what recommendations would you recommend? If not, why would this idea be a flop for GT fans?
How about this idea, folks?
