Hey guys,

I have recently been messing around with an excel sheet to help me determine the best car to use for certain online races, whether its by PP regulation or HEIGHT/WEIGHT regulation. Below I have posted a link to download this document file so please try it out and give me some feedback as to how I could improve it some more. I've sent it to a handfull of people so far and they seem to enjoy it so please feel free to give positive and negative feedback so I can make it run smoother and more accurate for races.

From the link below all you have to do is right click on the file and download it. If something doesn't work properly or you need help figuring something out please let me know. Have fun racing!

Is that spam bro. I opened it and it said something about Canadian Vacations??

That link just shows my own Google docs things

No. I'm having trouble finding a way to get it posted. Any suggestions on how to post it? Or maybe just message me your emails and I can send it straight to you. But thanks guys for the support! Just keep me posted on how it would be easiest for me and you.

Looks like a decent list, I'm just having issues with the numbers... please enlighten me.

Car name/Year/Premium/PP?/Max HP?/?/

If you want to share a google docs sheet, do this:

Sorry about not informing everyone on this... but here we go:
1) This is an excel sheet to give the top 5 results based on PP regulation or HP/Weight reg based on a formula I have calculated using the power to weight ratio. This formula is not perfect yet, which is why I need some people to test it out for me as well.

2) You can insert your cars into the main worksheet by getting the information from GT5. (ex. PP, weight, HP will be listed in your garage so you just type in the values in each cell.) You don't mess with the power to weight ratio as it calculates on its own. The course track and times fields are there for you to post which car you have tuned for a specific track. The race car field is pretty self explanitory (pick yes or no). Aerodynamics option (wing: yes/no). Drivetrain can be found in garage list of cars. Full Upgrades: (if the car has been modified fully with engine parts, drivetrain parts, transmission, etc.) The rest is all calculated from formulas I have entered in the cells. If you want, you can view the total number of cars in cell 'S1'.

3) Once you have entered the cars from your garage, you have the option to use the PP Regulation guide or the HP/Weight Regulation guide:
PP Guide: Click the link (in bolded red letters) or the tab with label 'Max PP'. From here you can enter the max PP required and if race cars are allowed or not. From here you will get 5 results of which car has the most potential to become the best car for that particular PP class.
HP/Weight regulation sheet works pretty much the same way

If I still ain't entirely clear on how to use this please let me know guys. And thanks again for giving it a try. I think with some time it could really be a great program to use to help find the best car to win each race.

Had some great ideas been messaged so far. Keep em coming guys!
Please give this a try and see what you think
