Gran Turismo raceway

Hi,
First of all, this is my first thread in the forum.

Out of curiosity, I was checking the information on wikipedia about the GT series, when i found something called "Gran turismo raceway", set to realese 2011.
Has anyone heard something about this? I tried to google it, and the only information i've found is that is a game only with race cars, and with more raceways from around the world.

Maybe its the name for a DLC pack?

Anybody can edit anything on wikipedia...

My guess it's a prank, some loner with nothing better to do.

Pretty sure the folks here at GTPlanet will hear of any new GT stuff first.
 
I heard this mentioned on the front page a while back. No idea what it could be, but it's intriguing. Something to look out for in the coming weeks/months anyway.
 
I really hope that's a DLC coming anytime soon :)
But it would be nice to hear something about it from PD.

I also CTRL-Fed and found no such thing mentioned anywhere, and would also like to know where you've seen this. Did you give us the right URL? Was it there at one point but has since been edited out?

In fact, i've checked the link again, and there's nothing there refering to gran turismo raceway... I think someone edited the wiki page.
The day i saw it there was also a expected release date, i think it was 2011, and a brief description of what it would be.

This sucks :crazy:
 
It was said before on another post that someone just put that there to start another rumor or something
 
If you check the history for this you get:

Do a CTRL + F on that and search for it :)

It was added then, and then on the 2nd Jan it was changed to include [FACT} then about 5 minutes later it was changed again to remove the "fact" and include [Citation Needed]. Then a few hours later it was removed.

So yes it was there, but again anyone can change anything with or without an account.

No one probably cares but just wanted to bring it up to help the OP out a little.
 
My first relevant search result for "gran turismo raceway" on google was this thread. lol

I don't have anything to back this up but I'm sure I read somewhere that the reason it was delayed so long was because PD don't believe in putting out an "un-finished" game that requires DLC at a later date. And that there wouldn't be any at all.

I may be wrong. Or with companies these days, they will have noticed how many units its sold and seen how many people want DLC on the forums and will also see $$$$$
