Gran Turismo signage at Le Mans!

I was watching the 24 hours of Le Mans today, and on the tire barriers for the chicanes on the Moulsanne straight, they have "Gran Turismo 4" banners!

One of the LMP 900 or 675 cars had grand turismo decals too. I think it was one of the Peugots. I will go crazy if the Le Mans circut is in GT4, that would be friggen amazing!

Yeah same here, that would be amazing! Imagine having to do a real 24 hour endurance on it (being able to pause of course) with tire wear, fuel usage, and mechanical failures

They had GT3 logos for the past 2 years... no La Sarthe/Le Mans in GT3, right? Don't get yourselves all excited for that. It's called publicity.

I got my hopes up because of the game, not the track. How often do they have publicity for something that isn't going to be released for 2 years. It makes me think the game might be out by Christmas after all.

Well, think of it a bit. How many people watch the Le Mans race worldwide? Know of a better way to advertise an upcoming game than putting the name in foot long letters down the Mulsanne Straight? I don't.

I saw the sign too and was still able to drool on the Bentleys and the new paint job for the C5Rs this year (It's too bad they didn't win in GTS.)

Speed Channel, and it was on Saturday from about 10 am Eastern to about 10:30 am Sunday. I'm sure highlights will be on sometime though.

Yess, is saw it to...playstation and GT4 decals on the green peugeot lmp 900 2003 and ofcourse at the moulsanne straight. after 2 years of wating and playing GT3.....i'm dying to play the latest version......It can't be too long utnil the release if te've started advertising...or is it just one of the old advertising tricks. Knowing that gt fans are racing fanatic who indeed watch the 24h of le mans.
