Gran Turismo Spinoff concepts

[Sniffs]

I have a silly Idea or two for some Gran Turismo spinoffs

Concept one: Gran Turismo Classic
vehicles are taken from the first half of the 20th century, and include early racers and poor dead labels. for Example
henry ford's own 999 racer
Dusenberg SJ
early rollers with the 7.6
Maybach and Hispano-Suiza goodies from Europe

plus a hand full from the "horseless carriage" class, like the T and 1886 benz 3 wheeler in GT4


Concept 2: Gran Turismo Truck
every possible form of people and cargo hauling bits applicable, including fullsize and Minivans (you really could make an Espace F1, or a Caravan R/T, fullsize midsize, and compact trucks and their SUV derivatives

I think this was all discussed while we waited on GT4 a year ago. All similar ideas, all interesting. I still contest the best idea is for Polyphony Digital to license their game engine and let other people do the work. Free money. And we'd get a huge selection of games.

Yeah, I made a thread in the GT4 forums called something similar to "What Would You Want in a GT4 Spinoff?" For a link to my old discussion, do a search in the GT4 forums for it. Take a few terms and put them into the Search box.

yeah, I just found out about this from my partner. Unfortunately, I'm on a permanent time limit when it comes to net time, and it takes about 15 minutes to read through a couple pages of a forum thread.
