Hello fellow :gtpflag:ers
While watching the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this thing suddenly came to my head. It's only a rough idea to allow for some input from interested drivers.

The Series will be a bi-weekly/monthly endurance Championship.

The season will consist of a number of Races with varying length.

There will be max. 14 cars, as the Series will also include a Safety Car.

Allowed cars:

In general, all cars that have entered any GT/Touring car championship/race in 1990 or later and RM/TC cars will be allowed as long as they don't have more than 600hp and weights more than 1100kg.

For all cars, there will be a max. of one (e.g. 1 Motul Autech GTR and 1 Xanavi Nismo GTR)

Only thing will be that all cars must have a different number, e.g. if a RM car has nu. 36 and someone finds out they want to use Castrol Supra (with only nu. 36) the RM car must find and submit a new number

number of laps?

Depends on length of the track, as I said Races will be about 500km with Nürburgring and Le Mans being double distance and double points :)

I'm changing distance from 500km normal to 250km and enduros to 500km

Hi, also watching Le Mans and interested in an mixed class competition. As long as the races are in the evening or weekend then there's no problem for me joining.

It will be Saturdays around evening GMT time

What about pp levels? 600 for the GTs seem to produce fairly realistic lap times

OK, little change to the idea, to avoid similarities with other Series this will be more of an online version of the enduros in any GT game, with GT class cars up to 600HP and at least 1100kg

hmmmmm fishy, reminds me of your All night race tonight ;)
I will see what I can do to join in for you Rally depending on dates

Yeah, I was hoping this could be the championship. Will not start before 2013 though, needs some interest :)

It shouldn't do so. The distance in Enduros are 500km, but that's only 2 of them :)

I have to say: as this haven't had much interest so far I might close it to focus on another of my projects

how would the pace car work???

how would the pace car work???

It was the thought that it should deploy when a car is to great danger or there is a big collision.

so in incedents where heavy damage is taken or multiple vehicles???

Is this event for Pros or do you need a steering wheel or any other kinda credentials? i would be intrested in playing, but i am FAR from pro. I am clean but no pro.

Basically all you need is clean driving and a car :)

How would you feel if the slow class was replaced with prototypes 💡 ?

a little bit annoyed lol, how about the "power class" as it is, and the "slow class" replaced with old school le mans cars like the GT40 and the Jaguar, Corvette, etc?
like a modern catergory and historic, NO 2Js!!!! lmao

that sucks lol, if that happens i will have to change my signature

It's not certain but there's very little interest.. Maybe I should keep to arranging enduros separately with separate car specs

i thought this was a great idea,

i thought this was a great idea,

So did I, but sometimes things don't go the way we want them too. And honestly I'd rather organize 6 individual enduros with much interest than one championship with nearly no interest :)
