TOKYO
first race of the championship inTokyo.
the qualifies went great, I tok the pole and watched how long I could drive with soft tyres. it was imo not long enough for this race and I desided that I would start with the mediums.
I had a great start, I was first to go trough the first corner and I started pushing.
After a few laps (driving first) I desided to make a pitstop to change the tyres. I choosed for medium fronttyres and hard reartyres ( hoping I could use them untill the end of the race). when I left the pits I was 4th but I knew that I was the first to change the tyres. And after a few laps they came in, one by one so I could overtake them and easely drive through the last laps and finish first.
TWINRING SUPER SPEEDWAY
as usual I checked the settings before the qualifies and took some softtyres.
But instead of choosing for practice I choose race. Damn, I'm soo stupid
So I had to start last with soft tyres, who were ment for the qualifies... but I could push extremeny hard becouse I could use the slipstream and I had softs.the second lap was my fastest lap of the race (I don't know anymore how much it was...)And after 3 laps I was in thirt position. Becouse of my soft tyres I had to come earlyer in than usual and took some hard tyres so I didn't had to come in again.
I drove the car to a (dissapointing?) thirth place
HONG KONG
I started in pole position with medium tyres and I pushed and gained (average) 2 seconds a lap on the secondone (minolta). after a few laps I came in and took some hard tyres. I was the lastone when I exit the pits and waited to the moment for their pitstops. But hard tyres and Hong Kong? It's not easy! when I finished my outlap I saw that minolta coming out of the pits. JUST IN FRONT OF ME !
I was second and I tried to overtake him but he was goddamned fast! at the very slow hairpin (after the long straight) I saw a chance to take him but I went too fast and got stuck in the wall. I lost him!
mking my second pitstop of the race I took again the hard tyres, I thougt I couldn't end the race with mediums, so I took again hard. Lost again 2 positions with the pitstop and finished fourth
SEOUL
11 points after the leader in the ranking and the fourth race of the championship. Not quite good...
so I made sure that I could start first.
Thanks to the NOS (
) I went first through the first corner and started with pushing. I started with soft tyres and that was a great idea! After 6 laps I needed new tyres but the secondone was 25 seconds behind me!
so new tyres, mediums, a I hit the road again. No places lost with the pitstop.
the second car was about 8 seconds behind me after a while and I couldn't make the difference bigger. but I saw on my screen that he was pitting in and that's where I could be 100% sure that I won this race. 3 laps before the finish: the mediums needed to be replaced and I pitted in, taking soft tyres.
when I came out of the pits I started pushing and in the outlap I lapped the 4th and the 3th car and I had a differece of something like 35 seconds. I wanted to lap everybody so I had to win 10 seconds. I tried and 1 lap before the finish I made my fastest lap. I couldn't lap him but I ended first
EL CAPITAIN
the differecence is now 6 points between me and the leader.
if I could win this race and the leader ended second there would only be 1 point between us. And I knew that! I started second after the leader, with hard tyres. At the start the car after me took me over but after the first corner I was again in second position. I had more grip than I expected so I realised I made a chanse to win this race. at the second corner we drove side by side and in the tunnel I had him. I was first! I pushed again and tried to make the differece as big as possible. and that worked! ant the end of the first lap he was 3 seconds behind me. In the middle of the race I took a pitstop and gave my car again hard tyres. I went out the pits and tried to win as much space as possible. when the leader in the championship (and in the race went to the pits I saw that I could overtake him and I did that. with more than 10 seconds behind me I drove not too hard so I wouldn't make any mistakes. Result: first place at the finishline!
